KN CAM RANH RECEIVES APPROVAL FOR THE INVESTMENT POLICY OF THE CAM RANH INTERNATIONAL MARINA PROJECT AT CARAWORLD

The Cam Ranh International Marina Project has just been granted the Decision on Approval of the Investment Policy and Investor, marking a strategic step forward in the journey to establish a new cruise tourism icon of Vietnam and the Asian region.

Connecting the “golden sea route” and a boost to national tourism infrastructure

On August 31, within the framework of the event “I Love Vietnam”, KN Cam Ranh – the project investor – was granted the Decision on Approval of the Investment Policy for the Cam Ranh International Marina by a representative of Khanh Hoa Province.

Located in the heart of Bai Dai, Bac Cam Ranh Ward – honored as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches on the planet – the Cam Ranh International Marina Project is expected to become a major cruise gateway of the Central region, while serving as a strategic transit point on the Asian “golden sea route” connecting Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Australia. The approval not only affirms the capacity and long-term vision of KN Cam Ranh, but also demonstrates the determination to realize Khanh Hoa Province’s orientation of becoming an international marine tourism hub.

Covering an area of 148 hectares, including both land and water, the marina is designed to accommodate cruise ships with a gross tonnage of up to 225,000 GT – the highest standard in the cruise industry today. The main berth is 420 meters long, directly connected to a 22,000 m² passenger terminal with modern architecture and large capacity, capable of serving tens of thousands of passengers each year. In particular, the entire channel and maritime signaling system are invested in synchronously according to international standards, ensuring safe and efficient operations under all weather conditions.

Beyond its technical and scale advantages, the Cam Ranh International Marina also possesses a rare strategic location. From the port, visitors need only 5 minutes to access Cam Ranh International Airport – which currently connects to over 70 domestic and international routes. At the same time, the surrounding road transport system has been completed, seamlessly linking to National Highway 1A, the North-South Expressway, and the trans-Vietnam railway. This perfect integration of air, sea, and land transport provides a solid foundation for Cam Ranh to emerge as a new tourism and logistics hub of the region.

According to estimates, the marina can welcome from 300,000 to 500,000 cruise passengers each year, generating hundreds of millions of USD in revenue for the tourism industry, while simultaneously stimulating retail, transport, accommodation services and creating over 7,000 jobs for the local community.
