KN Golf Links Cam Ranh Hosts the 2023 Asian Tour

From April 13 to 16, 2023, KN Golf Links Cam Ranh had the honor of hosting a premier golf event in Asia. For the first time in seven years, a premier Asian golf tournament returned to Vietnam with the International Series Vietnam event.

KN Golf Links had the honor of hosting this prestigious top-tier Asian tournament. The prize fund for the International Series Vietnam tournament is 2 million USD, featuring a field of 144 golfers.

According to the official announcement from the Asian Tour, the 2023 season will feature 11 events up to May, starting with the Saudi International in Saudi Arabia from February 2 to 5, with a prize fund of up to 5 million USD. This will be followed by a series of major events, including all four legs of the International Series. The four legs of the International Series will be held sequentially in Oman (February 9–12), Qatar (February 16–19), Thailand (March 9–12), and Vietnam (April 13–16).

The most recent Asian Tour event in Vietnam was the 2015 Ho Tram Open, held at The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip. At that event, Sergio Garcia claimed victory after winning a four-way playoff, while Trần Lê Duy Nhất was the only Vietnamese player to make the cut, finishing 60th overall.

KN Golf Links has received numerous prestigious titles and awards. Most recently, in 2022, KN Golf Links won two awards at the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2022: ‘Best Tournament-Hosting Golf Course’ and ‘Top 10 Best Golf Courses in Vietnam.

In 2022, the Asian Tour held 20 events, concluding with the BNI Indonesian Masters on December 4, where Thailand’s Sarit Suwannarut won the championship, and Sihwan Kim topped the Order of Merit money list for the season.
