This prestigious title is organized under the direction of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), in collaboration with the Embassy of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC), and Enterprise Forum Magazine, to honor outstanding female leaders who have made significant contributions to the economy and the community.

Ms. Lê Nữ Thùy Dương was honored with the ‘Golden Rose 2025’ as a comprehensive recognition of her contributions in corporate governance and management, social responsibility, and sustainable development orientation. This accolade is not only a personal pride for her but also a testament to the resilience, intelligence, and international aspiration of Vietnamese women in the era of integration, making a positive contribution to the country’s overall development.

Fortitude forged

After completing her Master’s program in Australia in 1997, Ms. Lê Nữ Thùy Dương returned to Vietnam at a time when the family business was heavily affected by the regional financial crisis. Alongside her parents – Labor Heroes Lê Văn Kiểm and Trần Cẩm Nhung – she navigated the most challenging period, directly participating in operational restructuring, strengthening the governance and financial systems, and steadfastly steering the family business through turbulent times.

Beyond urban real estate, she and the Group’s Board of Directors continue to expand their vision with large-scale, integrated, and sustainable projects, such as the nearly 800-hectare CaraWorld seaside mega-city in Bai Dai (Cam Ranh), three stable-operating solar power plants in Khanh Hoa, and two industrial parks – Nam Long Thanh and Dong Long Thanh (each with a first-phase area of 1,000 hectares) in Dong Nai – all reflecting modern development thinking, advanced technology application, and growth in harmony with the environment.

Charitable projects embodying the spirit of dedication.

If resilience serves as the foundation that keeps her steady amid the storms of the business world, then the spirit of service is the flame that ensures her journey remains enduring and radiant. For Ms. Lê Nữ Thùy Dương, social service is not an obligation but a mission. Over the years, she, her family, and KN Holdings have contributed more than VND 2,900 billion to social initiatives across five key areas: healthcare, education, environment, gratitude and reciprocity, and disaster relief.

In particular, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Group contributed over VND 600 billion to support frontline efforts. In 2024, in response to the Government’s call, KN Holdings continued to contribute VND 180 billion to the nationwide program for eliminating temporary and dilapidated housing.

She is also among the few Vietnamese individuals to contribute USD 3 million personally to the Global Fund to Fight Tuberculosis, bringing the total support for Vietnam to USD 13.5 million when combined with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the U.S. Government. In addition, she has been a pioneer in promoting philanthropy linked with sustainable development through programs such as ‘Toilets for Children’ – in collaboration with the Vietnam Central Student Association, building over 100 facilities in mountainous areas during 2023–2025 – and the 2019 golf tournament ‘For Beloved Truong Sa – Swing for Truong Sa,’ which raised more than VND 136 billion to support the military and people on the remote islands, with her personal contribution of VND 12 billion for the ‘Freshwater for Truong Sa’ project – a highly humanitarian initiative providing fresh water to Vietnam’s frontier islands.

In her role as a member of the 7th Executive Committee of VCCI and a member of Vietnam’s Leading Business Council, Ms. Lê Nữ Thùy Dương has been actively advising and contributing policy recommendations, helping to build a transparent and favorable investment and business environment for Vietnamese enterprises. VCCI Vice Chairman Hoàng Quang Phòng commented: ‘Ms. Lê Nữ Thùy Dương is one of the dynamic and responsible female entrepreneurs, actively participating in the activities of the Executive Committee in particular and VCCI in general, especially in policy advisory work and supporting the development of enterprises and entrepreneurs.

These persistent efforts have been recognized through numerous prestigious awards, including the First-Class Labor Order (2023), Second-Class (2021), and Third-Class (2017), as well as the title of ‘Outstanding Vietnamese – ASEAN Manager’ (2020), along with multiple certificates of merit from various central ministries and agencies.
